Bad Trigger Handle
Problem Description: The error message “Bad Trigger Handle” displays while a users is using the MSAS Professional program.
Why: This error message is caused by the way the 1.30 and earlier software calls data when interfacing with windows XP.
Steps to Resolution: A temporary resolution can be found by shutting down the MSAS Program, running DB maintenance and then restarting the MSAS Program. This problem is permanently fixed in software version Pro 1.40. For a Bad Trigger Handle fix only download and install pro software patch version 1.30.2.
Additional Suggestions: Turn off system hibernate and system sleep and run DB maintenance regularly.
